Chasing the Falconers

Chasing the Falconers
by Gordon Korman

This is the 1st book of the series.

Review #1: Summer, 4th grade

Rating: no rating given

Summary: The main characters are a boy and his younger sister.  They try to break their parents out of Prison.  But first they have to escape a juvinile farm.

Review: This book is great if you love a good scare!  I like it because it starts out really smooth and calm and then it springs right into action after awhile.  Also it gets involved with some prison and vilent things.  So be prepared if you are wanting to read the book On The Run #1

Review #2: Mrs. Covington, 100th grade

Rating: 4 of 5 stars (better than most books)

Summary: Aiden and Meg are stuck at a juvenile detention center that looks to outsiders like a farm run by kids.  They are surrounded by convicts, criminals and generally scary kids.  The only problem is, Aiden and Meg are not criminals.  One night the perfect opportunity for escape arrives and they take it.  Now they are determined to prove their parents innocence and stay one step ahead of the law.

Review: This is a great read, even though the plot is completely impossible.  Even though I knew what I was reading was not possible in any way, it was still fun to read and wonder how Aiden and Meg would get themselves out of each hairy situation.  I would highly recommend this book to anyone who likes action or mystery stories.
